Is anime secretly trying to tell us that Japanese men don't really want to get all the girls?

I think harem animes are a lot of laughs normally

I'm greatly disappointed. Has no one seen Strawberry Panic, or are they just forgetting the macho juices that this manly anime stirs?

Anyway, other manly anime, IMO, include Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, Tengen Toppa Gurrent Lagann, GaoGaiGar, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and Baccano!

Manly and Gay are antonyms. I define "manly" as having things that men enjoy, but not exclusively women/sex. That's just ecchi/porn, and men can't survive on that alone. Tenjou Tenge is the right idea, but Black Lagoon is still manlier, even with lack of boobilicious womens.
What I want are Pulp Fiction/Shoot Em Up type anime, like Black Lagoon and Mezzo Forte, where ridiculous, yet FUCKING AWESOME SHIT happens.

Never seen Cromartie High School, but I've heard it wasn't very good.
