Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, you're correct in that I had by far the worst track... the closest anyone came was Greg who mucked up two of my faves, Fall of Troy and E7...

If yours was the wolf rain track melee, Then yours definately wasn't the worst. I think track two and then greg's track (whose audio i lovingly provided) were prolly the worst ones. Off the top of my head anyway.

Also people, What did you think of my track?.. If anyone would be willing I'd love to hear idk.. critique, but overall just opinion.

wow I actually really enjoyed watching this, good job everyone. Lots of tracks stood out for me like ArashinomeAMV's. Also liked the KH and Valkyrie Profile (or whatever Tri-ACE game) tracks, vgmusic ftw.

I'm going to have to join the second one if you start it coz it looks like a lot of fun ;)

Agreed. There were way more bad ones than just yours.

Ok. some more specific and less flaming comments. The project started and ended weak. If I wasn't looking forward to certain peoples segments odds are I would have never watched past the second or third one. The middle was fairly decent though.

Kaxi's track was probably the high point, if anything gets made into a full video I want it to be that one. Part of it is just I really like that song but it was some nice editing as well.

Wurpess did a good job but unlike everyone else I wouldn't want to see much more of it. This was enough to get the idea and not enough to get sick of it. Much more and I'd get sick of it.

FC did a nice job rising to the challenge of weird audio as did codechrono and Bauzi. Hagaren Viper's wasn't great but at least he tried to be somewhat different. Inglow's complaint about audio amuses me considering these other tracks had far worse to deal with.

Copycat_Revolver started off as suck but took a nice turn at the end. The final shot of teeth closing was great.

Nerdstrudel started off with a good atmosphere going on but kinda ended up as just another video that mistakes zombies for horror.

The other tracks were just kinda there and not worth commenting on. Frankly they were exactly the type of thing I didn't want to see.

As for my own segment, it's not a real MEP until there's a poorly made godix comedy segment taking a shit on the whole idea. Thanks to cracker for providing his picture even though he had to know I'd use it to insult him. Thanks to CerebralAssamite for providing his picture, especially since he probably had no idea it'd be used to insult him. Thanks to MrPanda for just happening to be talking to me in PMs at the time I needed peoples pictures.

Hell this was some kind of heroic, self distructing act for still editing the track, melee. My respect for that.
