Your Favourite Anime!
I was wondering. What is everybody's favourite anime? Just post the name of the anime, genre and reasons for liking it. If this type of thread is not allowed then please tell me, lock the thread and don't get mad at me because I did not find any rules against it.
I'll go first.
Name:CLANNAD
Genre: Romance, supernatural, drama, slice of life.
Reason for liking it: The story is moving, you get emotionaly attached to the characters and it has some really likable characters, such as FUKO!
Now somebody else can go.

Name: Death Note
Genre: Horror, Mystery, Drama
Reason for liking it: Most entertaining thing I have ever seen! Light was such an evil fucked up bastard that he immediately drew me in. The whole fight between L VS Kira was just so fucking entertaining to watch. The exorcist like music, awesome sound effects, fucked up plot twists every episode, and some badass voice actors (Especially Light's fucking insane voice) really drew me into the series and had me anxious waiting impatiently for the next episode to release already. It was all one hell of a ride from the beginning of the series till the end! + I loved the ending of the series and I usually hate the endings of most new animes.

Reasons: cute tsundere Shana (Kugimiya Rie!), awesome OPs and EDs, badass villain (Sabrac), lovely romance between Shana and Yuuji, great action scenes and the epic "Urusai, urusai, urusai!". Not to forget the Shana-tan specials. <3

Hey, you want a more focused list than that? You're kidding right? Do you have any idea how many animes I have seen since 1995?
It's more than 200 that's at least an easy conclusion.
Why not go with an easy question like what are the top 5 animes you didn't enjoy as much as you thought you might.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Hmm, well I think the fact I actually bought Air TV has to say something strong for it.hasteroth wrote:I'm trying to get your #1 favourite.
But hmm I'm NOT in a hurry to try and purchase Sailormoon, Ranma, Urursei Yatsura or Inuyasha, as those are waaaaay outside my budget reach.
Maybe if I had had the chance the day it came out to buy it as it appeared.
But I missed the boat.
I have a number of animes that have not come out on dvd juuuuust yet though.
Some I would be considering might be Haruhi or Lucky Star (they are partially out).
I'm going to be on the prowl for purchases at Anime North this year. First time going I have actually had enough cash where I can imagine getting something better than an "I was there minor trinket".
