Naizashi wrote:I liked it. It was well edited trough out most of the video (got a lil weird towards the end editing wise) and had good use of scene selection. Nice job
Heh, I'm glad the scene selection turned out good. I presume you are referring to the part 3:18 - 3:30 as weird editing wise. Well, at that point the song is different, so the synch style shifts as well. I'm happy you liked the vid. ^^

BEAUTIFUL VIIID!! O:

..How come I like all your Videos? :| I dug it, even if some of the anime transitions didn't seem as seemless as i wished they would seem.
NO! It's a Beautiful Day! :P I guess you like all of my videos because of my 1337 3d!t!|\|g s|<!11z lol. I hope I'll continue this tradition. :P

Edit: This was really beautiful done! I loved it! 8-)
It's logical that the video is beautiful if the song is called beautiful day. :P I'm glad you liked it.

it kept the upbeat all the time, awesome footage : D
matches the song perfectly.
Yeah, flow and shiny footage FTW. :P
jasper-isis wrote:Great! You captured the spirit of the song really well. And I'm generally picky about multi-anime videos, but you did a great job pulling off the mix here. I'll have to watch this again with headphones on.

And wow, thanks for the shout-out in your vid description! :D
Yeah, watch it with headphones, the song is awesome. :P No need to thank me. :P

I'm glad to hear it. :D

I dug everything about it.

U2 Have some great songs, but this one is deffinately the best for me. Thanks for the scores. :)

Sentimental videos rull. :P Thanks!
RatQuiRit wrote:Nice stuff, it reminded me of Magic Pad and Feel the mambo at some parts, I should stop watching these movies xD I've never been a fan of U2 and Sentimental AMV, but this one sure makes me forget about it, nice job, keeper :)
Editing wise I agree that it is similar to Magic Pad, but Feel The Mambo? lol Anyway I'm glad you liked it. :P
Otohiko wrote:Heeeey, when you mentioned it in Jasper's announcement thread, I somehow thought you were also doing an all-Latter Tale video. I call hax on this! :o

j/k, well done. You actually used that footage more than I thought you would, especially given both the length of the video and the number of different anime in it. The idea, in principle seems to be similar to something like Jihaku, but the feel of it ends up being pretty different. Very nicely done, I enjoyed the lyric sync and the visuals didn't clash with each other. Editing good as always :)
I just couldn't resist using the awesome footage. To be honest, in the beginning I wanted to create something similar to Jihaku, but near the middle of the process I realized it would turn out pretty different. Both videos have different style, but I think achieve the same goal - emotional impact. Glad you liked the lyric sync as well. :P
CrackTheSky wrote:Love this song, and I've been waiting for a good video to it. You did a great job with it. You have a really keen sense of flow and rhythm and this is one of the smoothest videos I've seen in a long time. Like someone else mentioned, it felt a bit like Magic Pad...not that that's a bad thing.

One thing I didn't like, however, was the lyric sync. Sometimes the video just felt way too literal and in my opinion, especially in the first verse, a lot of the scenes didn't mix too well visually.

Still, excellent work. 4/5
Nice to hear someone else likes this song, and that you think the flow was good. :P About the first verse, that part was the hardest for me to edit, that's why I emphasized more on the lyric sync.
Turbo wrote:I don't care for lyrics, so for me it was eye candy cool stuff. Some of sources are fresh and dynamic, especially at the end of AMV. I really feel the touch of "beautiful day" even on the street was too grey and rainy. Approved. 8-)
Yeah, beauty surrounds us, you just have to know where to look. :P Thanks!

That was awesome. Most of the scenes went visually excellently with the others (though I'll agree the first verse could be a bit better in that aspect) and the whole thing just flowed.. beautifully. :p

The fact that it kind of resembles magic pad/jihaku for a few people is most probably based on the way you used scenes of similar motion to give the video a sense of flow and continuation, which is just awesome. And I have to agree on the similarities to Jihaku concerning emotional impact.

What I didn't like was a couple scenes that were either in slow motion or lagging on my computer. God knows why, they didn't seem too complicated and the video's resolution wasn't too high for my PC to handle either, videos like this usually play perfectly. O:

Well I don't have much to say other than what's been said, really. Great job dude!

Yeah, the flow used the same pattern like Magic Pad - the constant motion. Glad to hear the emotional side of the video worked for you. And thanks for the score! :)

I'm still not sure if starting slow and then progressing along is a correct way to make videos, since the viewer can loose interest before the fun starts, but that's my way of making videos. I will be honored if you show my video at a con. :D

If you are referring to the one at the beginning, the footage used there is from the opening of the game EF - The Latter Tale. :)

I watched it yesterday and I liked it... Interesting concept, trying to show something positive in spite of the adversities. I love some scenes, specially 03:04-03:07, artistic and sensitive for me. Yeah, it's a great video.

Just for a day... I'll watch this on loop...

Good stuff man, not long before the ef OP becomes and overused source, good to see it used so well at such an early stage.

New #9 on my top 10 list, this was awesome.

Very nice AMV combining lots of different sources mostly quite well.
I like the message of this vid, and I thought your scene choice matched the concept really nicely most of the time.
I think you took quite some advantage of the motion in the animation of the clips you used, but nevertheless your editing was neat overall, so good job on that. Good use of some subtle effects and nice atmosphere. I pretty much liked the bits of lyric sync too.
Enjoyable video.
