I just remembered more in Evangelion, theres the scene of Rei going all veiny when the angel attacks her eva in the gut.
but i already suggested the series, there might be more things in that show than the ones ive come up with

Kara no Kyoukai-The Garden of Sinners, the movie has alot of scenes in it that seem like they're what you might be looking for. For Example one scene in the movie has a girl who just comitted suicide lying in a pool of blood. The other Anime that comes to mind is Le Portrait De Petit Cossette, the scene that comes to mind on that one is the one where the main character rips out his own heart. =O The Garden of Sinners, I saw that at ANEXT 2 weeks ago...but I didn't have enough money to get it, definitely intend on checking it out. And I have Le Portrait, it's on the list

it had a giant robot eating ppl.....very violent
