i hope to submit an entry in soon O: a friend of mine that wants to do the same asked me about file size limits, any limit?

File size limits? I'll refrain from saying anything specifically, but I'll leave it at "be sane." SendSpace caps at 300 MB, and really if 4-5 minutes of video is running more than that, you're doing something VERY wrong. :)

Quality MPEG2 (like most cons recommended submitting) can be up to 70MB/min, so with a long video, you'd be hitting that upper limit very fast.

Good point, and yet another reason why I refuse to give file size or bitrate limitations. :)

We are not asking that AMV entries get permission to use either music or footage at this time.
