"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

That was a damn good AMV considering how incredibly bad the anime used were.

Re: Gothik
I really enjoyed this.
I enjoyed the movement and the editing in general.
I think some of the masks could have been better.
I also never really liked the song.
Anyways

Not as Gothik as I expected though. It was pretty flippin" awsome; and the visual made my eyes come out of my socket and depredate my screen

we pretty much ended up syncing the same was throughout, and there were quite a few beta's thrown around and scene adjusting in the overlapping parts to help them fit better together, other parts just fell into place ;] part 2 is comming in the next week /me has no lifeCross/Fade wrote:Enjoyed it. A lot. Like I said in the QC - I wouldnt have guessed this thing is a MEP since everything just flows so well. Good anime selection. Feels Gothic

yeah sweetdeily was originally using cashern to this song but she hit an editing wall and couldn't continue, but when i heard it i just has visions of trinity blood in my head, and there were 2 people who hit walls editing to it so yeah long story short, i can understand having a problem finishing, one of the reasons i didn't want to attempt it by myself actuallyGhet wrote:/makes pun

aww you say nice thangsFizziks wrote:This is an awesome AMV! I think you all did a great job!
yes our bad, I suffer from the "make drama and it becomes action" syndrome credits took about 20 hours in AE (over 5 of that rendering) so i am happy someone liked em.u-queen wrote:That was... actioney Pretty enjoyable despite I didn't like the song (too repeptitive). Credits= win.

There was only 2 masks in my segment (not sure about the others) and those were the chick praying, the part with nightroad turning his head was track mattes done in photoshop frame by frame (64 frames later of stupid bishie hair T_T) you should have seen those 2 masks in the beta version it took me 12 hours to fix the bastids and make them what you see in this version, some serious crap they were XD, glad you liked tho.leapoffate wrote:I really enjoyed this.

Forbidden? Darn it. I thought I could retire before they raised the required age.Eva-Fan wrote:MAX YOUR PARTS WERE AWESOME! You are forbidden from quiting amvs.
Seriously though, thanks a lot. And I haven't completely ruled out doing another AMV, but it's just unlikely at this point. We'll see what happens.
