Joey, what would you suggest that would be a better transition?ArashinomeAMV wrote:Downloading.
And Kev, being as Vax got it in 3min and I got it in 2minutes, Request some better internetz or get over it, honestly.
Edit:
Ok first thing is first, the quality of this video is GARBAGE. The audio is scratchy as fuck and damn near made my ears bleed. Most of the sources look downloaded, that's either the fault of your editors or whoever compressed this. Lots of frame blending going on and generally just looks very pixely. The editing itself was just flat out bad for the most part. It felt very bland and lacked the right flow or atmosphere on most of the tracks. The only track I liked somewhat was Ijexis's, and even that had it's fair share of flaws. I liked Shinnie's outro, probably the only redeeming thing I can really mention about this.
When it come's down to this as a mep it really just didn't feel like one...I don't get the significance of the songs chosen for the "mix", or the reason it's even called "Imagine". I really didn't see the "imagination" theme you were going for. I think the way you guys did the tracks was just flat out tasteless too, I mean most of the time there wasn't even a transition when you changed up the animes, it felt incredibly unbalanced.
Anyway, those are my thought's on the project. I think it had potential but just wasn't well executed at all. Better luck next time.

Re: Imagine MEP
Going to probably repeat a lot of what Joey mentioned above but yea...flat out awful.
I don't understand why you guys didn't make an mp4 of this for one. It would eliminate the large file size, save your server some bandwidth, and it would probably look better. But like the rest of this MEP, that element of it felt very rushed out the door as with most of these tracks. Picking colorful sources like you did was a good idea, and I was happy to see fantasy sources in there like Brave Story; you were on the right track there. However simple source selection won't really stand out on its own. Your editing didn't do the sources or your theme justice and as much as you wanted them to, none of these sources really felt like they worked TOGETHER, which is very important for a MEP like this.
And do none of you understand the concept of an aspect ratio? Jesus christ.
2/5 Better luck next time.
Better coordination in the future would be nice. And a message to ALL MEP coordinators as this seems to be an increasing problem with MEPS:
You CAN reject finish tracks. You're the coordinator, you're the director. Don't let SHIT leak out all over your mep because it will FUCK your shit up. If the track doesn't work on any level, tell your editors that. If the track can be saved, explain to them how it could better fit the overall theme of your MEP.
tl;dr
Coordinators need to wake the fuck up and start doing their job.
