vegas Player could not be found

Post by Paty Punk » Fri Mar 06, 2009 10:47 am

I recently got a problem with my version of Vegas 6.

It's an error along the lines of "Vegas couldn't open, because the media player couldn't be found." (I don't remember exactly and ain't on my own computer right now).

Has this problem ever accured to anyone and does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Ok uh it says the file "mscoree.dll" couldn't be found and reinstallation may fix the problem, but it didn't.

Really no one who can help?

I tried googling mscoree.dll and it appears it's a dll of the .NET Framework. I'd suggest downloading the dll from a site and putting it in the C:\Windows\system32 directory (or another system directory, but that generally is the one), that should solve it.

ok so I got the "mscoree.dll" and put it in system32, but got another error:

"A fatal error occurred.However,mscorees.dll could not be loaded to display the appropriate error massage. Please reinstall the NET Framework"

I tried to reinstall the NET framework and got again, another error:

"Error 25007. Mistake at Fusioninitialization.Setup couldn't load Fusion with LoadLibaryShim() .Mistake 0x80131702" (translated from german)
