Zarx264 is Stopping at 26%

Post by AaronAMV » Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:15 pm

The first time, it stopped at 25%, the last two times it stopped at 26%. I've tried both lagarith and huffyUV. Help?

Script:

Code: Select all

AVISource("C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\can't be told.avi")
ConvertToYV12()

Very odd but sounds like a problem in the avi file.
What happens if you try to save it as xvid in virtualdub?

I can't save it as XviD per se because it doesn't want to be recognized by VDub 64-bit on my system... But I saved it as x264 just fine.

Actually, I just watch the .avi, and it keeps stopping at :03. I already re-rendered in both lagarith and huffy.

Try exporting uncompressed.

Yeah, I tried that also. I also tried rendering a single track from the small MEP, and that stopped at 37%, although others worked. So it was a matter of the track being wrongly exported or something... Thanks, though.

I would just use the 32bit Vdub and codecs, personally. The 64bit versions of most stuff yet is still experimental.

Does the 26% correspond with 2gb in size? Or is your HDD full? :)

It ended up being that the file I was sent just wasn't working correctly; it was corrupted or something, not sure. And when I said it saved as an x264 .avi fine, it rendered fine, as in completion, but when I tried to play it, it stopped at two seconds. Anyway, I had more than enough HDD space, but I'm going to have to deal with most of the 64-bit codecs, as I can only get 64-bit VDub to work...

That's odd. What system are you running? I'm running Win7 64bit on an Intel Q9550 and haven't had any issues with 32bit apps so far thankfully.

HP Pavilion Elite m9340f. The next time I get a new PC, I'm building it from scratch :/
