This Anime looks exactly like the old late 80s/early 90s arcade game (also launched on Super Nintendo) called UN Squadron. It has the same symbol and everything. The pilot also looks similar. Does this anime have anything to do with UN Squadron?

Also I'd like to add that I felt like i was actually flying a jet while I watched, my co-pilot got shot in the head and it was just me out there, I fought them with courage, and took no prisoners......you could almost say that I handled the situation.....like a boss.
lol.........like a bosssss

UN Squadron is the American re-named version of the Area88 game for snes, the game was based on the original version of the anime which was released in 1985, i think.
great game btw, use to play it.

It used to be one of my favorites. I guess now I have a new anime (I haven't seen) to look forward to! :D
