To be honest, I was getting a huge feeling of repetition with this show, and was going to stop watching it after episode 18. A few more comments on here made me watch the rest of the currently subbed episodes. :roll:
Episode 19 = filler. Bleh, skip! (Well until the ending, anyways.)
Episode 20 = They've pulled another timeskip. Whenever they do that in this series I think it always seems... bad. They can't pull off timeskips well (mainly because when they do, they either add a small amount of explanation or none at all.) And what was with Cal?! Seriously, 2 years and she looks like... THAT?! 0.0;;
Episode 21 = Getting better. Cal's remixed theme sort of bugs me a bit (not too much, though) and hey, a face off between Ein/Elen and Drei/Cal? I'm there! XD

GREAT! I loved this series. Everyone should watch this show. The story was great, the characters were really awesome, and the music was perect. The opening song and animation for the first part of the show = LOVE. When that drum kicks in and the bass starts, oh man!

End of the series, however...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU :evil: :shock:

Now that its finished, I went back and picked it up again. The high school thing made me rage unbelievably, but I've cooled down enough to tolerate it now.
Having finished it, I can say I'm satisfied. It was not exceptional or amazing, but the last episode made up for a lot of the bullshit in the previous six. Overall, I hated Cal's transformation in every way, and thats mostly what prevented me from being satiated by this series. She was one of my favorite lolis of all time, and they turned her into that... beast. And sad end was sad. As usual, the conflicts were based upon assumption and could have been resolved through clearing up the misunderstandings. In addition, the last arc was very slow, with way too many dialogues. After the Cal problem was over, I enjoyed the rest of it i.e. the last episode only. Loved it. The way they handled Scythe Master was beautiful, and then the trip to find Elen's memories was even more so. Usually, I would hate the show entirely for what happened to Renji in the end, but somehow, I think this is more appropriate than what I had hoped for. I feel kind of the way I did when Death Note ended. It's sad, but it is just and satisfying. And thats all. Just... satisfying. Not amazing or glorious, or heartwarming or brilliant, but not bad.

I give a 7/10.
