So far a lot of decent videos. Do not put black video at the start or end of your final clip. Please, please do not send "previews" of your video in 150+ MB files. They should be low quality encodes. The final videos should be in high quality AVI: XVID, MJPEG, DIVX, etc. or MP4 if you know what you're doing (you do not! no one does!).

Anyway, thank you to everyone for sending in videos. I've been holding off on finishing the trailer because I wasn't sure about where the project will be shown, but that should be decided fairly soon. Overall the project needs more music in the videos and less dramatic dialogue. No one wants to see characters saying random lines from movies and cartoons for 45 minutes. Really!? Really.

So this means that the FTP is up, right? My clip has been done for a while and is aching for submission.

Any chances of having a running gag set of videos? One of my ideas would involve 3+ videos with the gag.

If not I have a few other AMVs up my sleeve.

i think it was stated earlier that the FTP isn't open yet, due to hard drive space? oh well.

After giving it some thought, I think the FTP will have to wait a few months. This is mostly due to a lack of hard drive space, money for a bigger drive and the amount of time invested in setting up logins. But there will be an FTP several months before the deadline. Keep sending in video ideas though! There have been some great ones so far.

I'm in like sin. Since I'm new to making AMVs this is good to get used to the prossess. I have a couple of ideas so I'll be e-mailing those in. AMV Hell is great and hopefully I get to be apart of it but with much more experienced creaters joining in as well I might not make the final cut. But what do I have to loose?
