Alright after some thought of how I am going to run this I felt as though leaving the song choice up to the editors and removing the custom mix would allow for some more freedom and give you guys some more choice as to what you want to do.
Though there will still be limitations. Tech guides and mep rules as follows.
Technical Guidelines.
Aspect Ratio - 848,480
Square Pixels
Frame Rate - 23.98
De-interlaced
Decent Video Clean up. Follow guides and you should be fine.
Rules.
1: No anime may be used more then twice.
2: Commonly used sources will be judged harsher.
3: 1min - 2min of song cuts if your song fits in there with out cuts congrats there are a few that do.
4: Enjoy your editing its a hobby after all
5. Trolls will need to pay bridge toll.
This mep.
Welp a band mep it is though I am trying to create an interesting way of setting up a mep type that has been done to death. We are starting when the band did and ending the same way. Beta's can be sent to your hearts content but I need the finals on December 1st. Each album will have 3 songs taken from it leaving us with a twelve song mep. You guys get to pick which song that way it does not have my personal picks. Though I will probably judge the popular song choices harsher as well cause that's just the kind of guy I am. This bands music goes from the anger of youth to its pains of relationships through out its albums progression of this type of feel from album to album would be interesting to see, but I leave that up to you guys be creative.
Band info.
Spoiler :
Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990.
The band established itself as part of the Seattle music scene, releasing its first album Bleach for the independent record label Sub Pop in 1989. After signing to major label DGC Records, Nirvana found unexpected success with "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the band's lead single from its second album Nevermind . Subsequently, Nirvana entered into the mainstream, bringing along with it a subgenre of alternative rock called grunge. As Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation," with Nirvana being considered the "flagship band" of Generation X.Cobain was uncomfortable with the attention and placed his focus on the band's music, believing the band's message and artistic vision to have been misinterpreted by the public, challenging the band's audience with its third studio album In Utero .
Nirvana's brief run ended with Cobain's death in April 1994, but the band's popularity continued and influence endured in the years that followed. In 2002, "You Know You're Right," an unfinished demo from the band's final recording session, topped radio playlists around the world. Since their debut, the band has sold over twenty-five million albums in the US alone, and over fifty million worldwide

I want Lithium, not sure wether I'm gonna use End of Evangelion or the bebop Movie. Style-wise I'd think Bebop would fit better, but the story of evangelion would probably fit the lyrics better. What do you think?
@ Kev - I would say limit the edits to 2min max and 1min minimum will update that in the rules. I can agree with both your points on the shows my best guess is to try both and see which feels better for you.
Lithium is in Nirvana's less angry stage, but eva could fit if done correctly. I would use EoE in my options but again the decision is still yours.
@Leap - I finally decided what I was going to do. Pick your song and have fun
