This was awesome! I think the only nitpick I had was that some scenes were too literal (like, I found that 'Mufasa being killed' as Kyube and 'Simba' as Kyube, when Kyube was Scar the whole time, was a little off).
But great concept, good lip synch, and now I'm going to forever envision this demonic cat thing as Scar. XD

krieblue: If I was to be completely honest, I would have to admit that the fact that Kyubey doesn't open his mouth to speak was a major factor in making the AMV in the first place - if I had to lip-sync every single line in the song I'd have gone cross-eyed...!

EkaCoralian: I take your point, and to an extent I agree with it - the line "...and Simba too" was originally set to Homura chasing Kyubey and firing mana-bolts after him, but I altered it to 'Scar' rubbing his back with confident ease on the bench precisely because it would have muddied the character identity too much, as you think. I decided to keep "No, fool, we're gonna kill him" as it was, though, because I liked the fast cut that developed between "kill/him" and also because I felt that there needed to be some specific action accompanying that particular line in order to maintain a sense of direction with the plan going towards a definite end, otherwise audiences might have drifted.

You too, huh? What's up with that? I know for a fact Sony Music Japan doesn't have a claim over the song I chose. Hell, the song is sung by a Vocaloid. At that, I also am pretty skeptical about Sony Music Japan having any rights to the Lion King for that matter, ahaha.

I noticed a ton of Madoka videos got taken down, even a few fancovers of Madoka BGM-- a rock version of Mami's battle theme and a celtic version of Elsa Maria's theme. If those videos don't fall under acceptable use, what does? All of this just looks to me like an overzealous bot went apeshit. I don't have the time or resources to dispute the claim though, kind of sucks.

Now that I think about it, I'm curious. Did your video have any tags in Japanese? I'm wondering if that might have been what tripped this bot.
