Like you, like everyone we really didn't want to believe it. Many of us didn't believe it and a small part of me still expects him to show up in his old way laughing and telling us all we've been trolled. I'm really really going to miss that magnificent bastard.

He was talking to me a couple days ago about potentially being absent for a few days due to hospital visits. I told him to take care of himself and sent my well wishes... This is extremely saddening.

Never thought I'd have to return the favour... for real

Actually I can't even muster the sense of humour to write him a send-off he would've approved of. This is just too sad. He was one of the people I talked to most online in general, and by far the most on #amv specifically. Despite his public persona, he was one of the best people you could have as friend on the .org, and one of the most interesting people to talk to. The response I'm seeing to the news only proves the impact he's had around here.

Shame he never got "most helpful". It's difficult to see his helpfulness objectively, but honestly, he deserved it.

It's always sad when someone in the community passes away and this is no different. Godix was one of the most entertaining people for me on the org. He knew when to troll and he knew when to be serious and he ultimately didn't give a damn what people thought of him, and I respect him for that. Definitely one of the most vibrant and explosive personalities on the org, you will be missed.

I didn't get to know him as well as everybody else on here, but I enjoyed what few times I did chat with him on the irc.

The Org won't be the same now that he's gone, but we'll never forget him.

He and I talked quite a bit on the IRC channel, trading betas once in a while. I was hoping that he might've been coming out to AWA this year so I could meet him after all these years... but now, I never will.

To a great creator and a person who brought a nice dash of humor (and occasional insanity) to the AMV community, RIP. You will be greatly missed.

RIP Bob. Any time I went on IRC in the past few years, it was to chat with you. We didn't always agree on things, but we could always agree to disagree. I remember you once joked that if we ever met in real life, I'd beat the ever loving shit out of you. I'm sorry I won't get the chance to show you wrong.
