Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
Fuck yeah, I cracked a solemn warning last weekend (a yugioh card), which everyone needs but is now out of print. I put it up on ebay and within 12 hours it was up to $80. There's still 6 hours left with 7 people watching it, I expect a bunch of snipers in the last few minutes, it's one of the few on ebay atm. Tbh, I would have been happy to get $60 for it, I only payed 4.50 for the pack. But $80+? Sweet deals.

Only reason I can think of is it's probably because of my not having had a taxable income for so long. I felt the recession and job loss coming back in 2004.aesling wrote:Chase only gave you a $2700 limit? Mine is $8000. >_>

Ok, having nothing to specifically add to this point, I just wanna point out that I finally caught up with how people play the game nowadays. Holy Slifer there are a lot of banned cards I frequently used back in the day.Jadecavy wrote:Fuck yeah, I cracked a solemn warning last weekend (a yugioh card), which everyone needs but is now out of print. Also, this idea of Synchro Summoning intrigues me.

Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
I'd assumed that YGO had adopted the old-sets-are-banned policy that M:tG uses. What really surprises me is that players can now have an "extra deck" in addition to their main deck and side deck. That's a lotta decks!CodeZTM wrote:Ok, having nothing to specifically add to this point, I just wanna point out that I finally caught up with how people play the game nowadays. Summer has made my stress almost completely dissapear. And we're 9 days from being out of tornado season. And into the extreme heat of an Arkansas summer. Thank God.

Re: THE HAPPY THREAD
I started taking a medication for an under-active thyroid. I don't recall ever having this much energy before. I'm not constantly tired any more, nor am I waking up exhausted after a full night of sleep. This is such a weird feeling. I gotta say, I'm enjoying it. Also have the side benefit of more mental clarity when trying to figure out problems.

Ear infection is disappearing thanks to constantly chewing gum, but it still stings a bit.
