I'll say "hi" as long as you show up for Animation Hell. Buddy of mine just got about 10-12 hours worth of material, and now we begin the process of a preliminary playlist.

We'll still do some shifting on the fly, if the crowd takes us in a different direction.

I will be going. My friend and I are driving there from Philly which is like an 8 hour drive. I'm just tagging along with my friend or I probably wouldn't be going. I still have no idea on how I'm paying for this but I still have a month yet. We will only be there friday and saturday though.

I also feel like a big idiot now because I just now found out that a-m-v.org had a forum. I have been a member here for awhile though.

Animation Hell is shaping up to run in the main programming room, midnight 'til whenever we feel like it.

Misty, I know you said you were trying for Saturday, but you gotta catch this, if you dig absurd humor and laughing at bad things.

If anyone's been to a Hell event before, you can expect some old faves like "Genre", "Bring Me The Head of Charlie Brown", "Old GLory Robot Insurance", "Monkey vs Robot" and tons of others. And of course we are always adding to the steaming pile...

Any requests?

I take it your animation bash is only Friday night eh? Well, Ohayocon had a program problem last year...er...disaster. I didn't know where/when anything was and had to pick a day so I picked Saturday. This year, if there is an amv contest on Friday as well, I'll be there ^_^ So far their site says nothing though. Give us the scoop RichLather :D

I've only got a hookup as far as Hell is concerned...as for the contest, well, I'm just a lowly participant like the rest of yiz. If it's any ndication, Saturday will be the big contest time. Depends upon their entries, I suppose.

I'll ask and see...

Hmmm. Looks like I can actually get decent airfare to get out there from a reasonably close airport. Woohoo! I might actually make it out to see my first solo video shown to an audience (well, assuming it makes the cut- but I don't figure there will be an excessive amount of entried in the parody/trailer category...). The con sounds like a lot of fun- I hope I get to meet lots of you there if I make it out!

I'll be heading to Ohayocon again this year, despite the fact that they moved it from my hometown. According to the head guy, its supposed to be a lot bigger and better then last year. I definatly hope its better, last year there were many hours where I was bored with nothing to do, thats not supposed to happen at a Con.

I wanted to submit my first AMV to this con but I couldn't complete it before the deadline. I just decided it'd be better if I spent more time on it and waited for more material to come out. It will probably be debuting at ACEN instead. I do know a couple people submitting vids though, so I look forward to that.

And I love Anime Hell so I will definatly be there. Just can never get enough of a robot tossing a monkey off of a building.

Ushicon will defiently be something to remember this year. Old faces along with new ones.

I wish they were running a contest. It woudl be a hell of alot of fun to compete with all of my friends like Fluxy, MJ, Wonka, Beowulf, Adiamante, Hitori and anyone else who would come.

This showcase isn't working out to well if you ask me and I've already met the people in charge of ushicon. It's like talking to brick walls that say "GEEK" on them.

Oh well.

Friends + Drinks + Anime - Ushicon Staff = Hell of a good time!

I sent a vid to Ohayocon (first attempt at Dramatic, so don't laugh too much at my inexperience) but I sadly won't be there in person. Its kind of not local and I have classes and whatnots. Oh well, I still have Animazement, which is all nice and close.

Oh yea I sent 2 videos in as well. Alternate Reality and one new surprise which I hope everyone will enjoy. Some AMV creators have already seen it though but i hope they still like it :D
