Hi all!

I'm Viraus, an absolute newbie to this site, and to AMVs in general. In truth, I've never made a proper AMV. As the avatar might suggest, I got into video editing through My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you've been following The Herd, you may have even seen one of my PMVs, like Pony Swag or My Little Wu-Tang Clan.

But the truth is, I had the most fun working on my most recent project, an MLP/Baccano! mashup. It was an opportunity to explore the more graphical side of Sony Vegas- color corrections, 3D motion tracking, titles, spiffy zooms, that sort of thing. I loved it, and I want to do more. And it might be fun to go beyond Ponies, too. So I'd like to be a part of this community- you guys seem honest, knowledgeable, and appreciative of quality...what better place to hone some skills? And who knows, I might even start watching some anime again, if not just for AMV inspiration.

Oh, and my AIM is also "Viraus" if you feel like chatting- I'm always up for it.

Hello, I'm Nikole. I am 19. I work full-time and take college classes online. It can be quite stressful and I get distracted.. I end up playing MMO's, catching up on anime or Asian dramas and on dolly forums.. that's right I like dolls! Anyway, I'm a big fan of AMV's. I've been watching them for the past few years. I think its absolutely amazing what a lot of you editors can do! I've never made an AMV myself, I have everything I need to make my first one. Its just a bit intimidating so we'll see how that goes. >_>
