"AKROSS Con 2011" AMV contest has been just announced. You can find some basic info here. Detailed rules will be available later (I'll update this thread then).

Registration will begin on September, 15.
Deadline for entries - November, 15.

Please note, we accept only videos never shown online before (exclusive premiere on contest)! For some reason, many foreign editors have serious issues with this simple rule...

I would like to ask as I was talking to a friend of mine who was intereted in being in an MEP and a solo AMV. Is that allowed.. ? Or is it one video (MEP included) per person? As I would not like to see him get disqualified if that is so and he does go into an MEP & solo AMV.

If he's not the MEP coordinator (the one who presents MEP on contest), then yes, it's allowed.
