First anime you ever saw?

My Neighbor Totoro- the Fox dub, around 9/10 years of age. The first non-DBZ, non-Pokemon, and non- Sailor Moon work that made me fall in love with the work of Hayao Miyazaki, though I was still clueless as to what the genre actually was until Naruto and Death Note came along, and I was slowly starting to become aware of what "anime" truly was.

Either Pokemon or Digimon, I stick with Digimon longer though (almost everyday as long as it's on I'm watching it)
I also watched Case Closed about the same time; remains one of my favorite still watching Case Closed after I first saw it 10 years ago haha xD

I can't know the answer to this question because I was litterally grown up with the various anime on the Italian TV channels. So I watch anime since I was born. And I can't remember my baby days. There have been REALLY plenty of Japanse cartoons since ever on TV for me. Either the older ones from the 1970s (I'm not sure about the 1960s), 1980s or those recent ones from the 1990s (I was born in 1989).

So... Who knows what my very first anime might be.
