Getting VOBs out of WinX DVD ripper?

Post by Sand3 » Sun Aug 26, 2012 8:59 pm

So I'm a few years behind on the tech here as I took a break from editing while I was finishing up school, and DVD Ripper now looks completely different than I remember and it's got me at a bit of a loss.
Back in the day, all it did was rip the data files out of a DVD, now it seems to be more based in converting to different video types, which isn't really what I want, I just want the raw VOB files and I can't see an option for that here.
How do I extract the raw VOB files from my DVD without converting them into anything else? I plan to do that in VirtualDub when I'm clipping it, so I just want the raw video for now.

What I'm looking at:

Okay, so, tried that and DVDFab successfully gave me VOB files, but now Virtualdub says VOBs can't be opened. What's with that?
