Choosing the right song! Help.

So I am planning to make my second AMV, but I have no idea what song to choose. The problem is if I search "Good songs for AMVs" I'll end up with an overused song. So does anyone know a good way for me to choose the right song?

(Just to be specific, it will be an action AMV.)

Well there is this one song that I absolutely love, and thought would go well with the anime I'm using, but it's in Japanese, and I feel that the fact that most viewers wouldn't understand the song would take much away from the AMV.
All the songs I usually listen too are Japanese, so picking something from my favorites would be a Japanese song.

Would it be alright to use a song that is in Japanese?

pwolf's got the right answer here. You should go with what you want to do for your video. It should never be about what other people will think or like. If you feel this song will work for your video, then go for it and have lots of fun making it!

Use the songs that you like, there's a really wide range of songs =)
Don't look what others might say or don't think if the song will be overused, I know some people really do care about that issue, but every new video has its own taste, own feeling =) a song can't change its feeling, if you don't enjoy working on the project because of some reasons, how do you expect others to enjoy it?. If you want some new songs, try searching up for the same genre songs that you love, you might find new songs then!
