You're reading too much into it, he's just expressing that someone is coming to one website to ask for help about another.

Except that there is no reason that the Org should be the 'wrong place' to ask advice on putting AMVs onto another website, or to an anime convention, or to your mother's DVD player or anywhere else for that matter. They are just venues for showing AMVs and AnimeMusicVideos.org should encourage and assist in putting AMVs in any venue.
