dancing in anime?

Oh wait, you meant nightclub-ish dancing. Not traditional Japanese mystical ritual dancing.

Well, in Angelic Layer episode 10 or 11, there's the idol Angelic Layer player, Ringo Seto. She sings and dances during her concert scene. Her angel dances while she's fighting too. In fact quite a few angels dance for practice before matches or look like they're dancing while they're fighting. As evidenced by the "breakdance' AMV.

Episode 9 in Zone of the Enders, Dolores i has the giant pink mecha Dolores dancing by herself, but then again she's trying to do ballroom dancing so maybe that's not what you're looking for. It's a very entertaining scene though.

There's some really new series that ADVision is bringing over on DVD called "Colorful" I don't know anything about it, but I saw a trailer for it on my Excel Saga Volume 3 DVD. It was like all dancing and nightclubs, and nothing else but that. That definately sounds like the sort of thing you're looking for, good luck finding anything else about it though.

um .. not really really anime .. but iveseen a hypeo. amv using clips from batman beyond with a whole nightclub theme ... if it wouldnt be ripping them off id look into that if you dont have any ideas .. i think it was a batman beyond movie.

Indeed, I recommend that if you don't want to spend a lot of time tracking down footage, find a song the same length as the one used in this video and then replace the old song for your new one and call it good.

i dont think so.
ill check out the video ...(If I can find the damn thing) but im not going to just rip off your video (even with permission)

Also, if you type "dance" in the super search section, you can find lots of dance videos, that will give you ideas about which animes to use.
