According to a lot of people, I still pass for a teenager, while mentally being closer to someone in their late 40s or something...

I've basically had to stop shaving and wearing clothes that people my age would wear, because otherwise my students confuse me for one of them and don't take me seriously (not that they do anyway). And at department events, new people always assume that I'm a brand new student who, like them, just started my masters or something, even though I'm literally 7 years ahead of them. I get carded almost everywhere, and even my parents' friends give me weird looks when they ask me how school is going and I tell them that I'm a college professor.
