Anime Evolution AMV Contest : Finalists and Winners

Vancouver's anime con is back to its usual summer slot, so it's time to start gathering AMVs!

Rules & Submission Form

Deadline is May 31.

There is a Freshness Rule: "Previously released videos (as shown publicly at conventions, clubs and contests or for download on the internet) must have been premiered after June 28, 2012 to qualify. However, videos that were submitted to Anime Evolution: Akimatsuri 2012 are not eligible for this contest."

There is no restriction on entering videos that have won prizes in other contests.

You may submit THREE entries, provided at least ONE of them is in the Comedy/Parody or Fun/Upbeat category. Otherwise, the limit is TWO.

As usual, there will be actual tangible prizes , details of which will be posted later.

With two weeks to go until the deadline, we already have a decent number of entries for Action, Drama and Romance/Sentimental. Keep 'em coming.

However, we are a little light on Comedy/Parody and Fun/Upbeat. If you have any videos that would fit in these categories, or you have an idea for a video that you think you could bang out in 2 weeks, please enter them. You have an excellent chance of making the finals!
