FB/Twitter Sharing Options for Posts
So, similar to how I have sharing buttons at the bottom of posts on AMVGuide, maybe something similar can be implemented on forum posts. I think it would make it much easier for new AMV announcement threads to get attention outside of the regular forum-lurking crowd. I mean, there are some pretty nice buttons for quoting and reporting-- maybe there can be one for sharing. The way I do it on AMVGuide uses ShareThis, but I don't know if there is any way to do it for a forum like this.
Anyway, it's just a suggestion
Thanks for Your Time

I agree that we indeed need these:
Because copy-and-paste is very hard to do, because we all need more beacons tracking us, and because everyone needs more on their feeds.

Hmm... I see your point. Thanks for your input.
Now, just for future reference, please don't say the exact opposite of what you actually mean. Doing that just makes you sound like you're trying to convey some sort of snide sarcastic remark aimed at building an aura of moral superiority that not only makes you sound like a jerk, but also opens the door to misinterpretation by others.

For me, I agree it might come in handy.
And nevermind trythil, he's kinda... special in his own way. Very torn between the latest new technologies on one hand and very old approaches (in some fields) on the other.

Just seems like unnecessary clutter to me (like we need more of that here....). You need to share your thread on your Facebook? Copy/paste the link. Easy peasy!

Doesn't mean it isnt still usable. I have no insight into the version phpbb he org uses or how modified the code already is. Im just putting it out there that a mod does exist and that's the first one I ran across in my google search.
I would have no real use for it except to take 1 step out of my usual video announcement process.
