Is this considered monetizing my AMV?

Post by boagz1 » Thu Jul 31, 2014 3:13 pm

Hey guys, I have an amv up on youtube. I also have a link to my AMV site underneath the video. If my website is using google adsense on it (basically ads are put up on my website and I get small profit per click) is that considered monetizing my amv even though it's not on youtube? If so, should I change this or is there really any danger? Thanks for any replies.

I'd be more worried about what's on your site than about putting in a link on a youtube video. After all nobody is obliged to klick that link.

Also I would be concern that AMV's are for non-profit. So by getting money for the website per click then you are making a profit off your site. That's just my take on it as well.

There is no danger since the AMV is not running ads on itself.
