Even though I didn't make it in, I was happy when I received a badge in the mail for seating I think it was? I am unable to make it to Colorado but I am going to treasure that little badge because I did have fun making my entry and look forward to entering next year. I will be looking up those finalists *.*

I hope someday I can attend Nan Desu Kan, because it seems so fun!

I was kind of surprised to receive the badge in the mail too. It's been a rough road back for me into making AMV's but I'm learning a whole bunch more new stuff and I plan on submitting next year too. Who knows maybe if I have the money maybe I can fly out to Colorado for a week. Come to the con and visit my uncle out there too. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it out there since I live on the east coast.

You have to be pre-regisered, right?
Anyway, it would be nice to have my entry played as long as it's not for anything like "AMV: What to NOT Do."

256 videos is a lot to show. I remember one year at Otakon I entered and there were a little over 200 + and they had to have 6 overflow screenings that were 2 hours each. Yikes. I can only imagine.

Nope. Anyone that submits a video and is not DQ'd gets a badge for entering. The badge grants you priority seating + an editor ballot at the contest, and this year it will also be a pass to get into the Editor Lounge.

This is one tough contest to get into, don't think I've had a video in the finals in years. Got lots of cool badges though.
