Honestly, at this point, I'm pretty much fine with just letting people put a full series on the list. The original rule stemmed from a desire to keep things as "legit" as possible by keeping it in the realm of DVD-footage only, so a single DVD of something, whether thats a movie or a single volume of a TV series. As the tournament progressed, I knew that fewer and fewer people were even buying DVDs, let alone using them for footage, so I changed it to just "5 episodes" to sort of maintain that same idea. Plus, ethical ideas aside it kept the overall AMOUNT of footage relatively similar, adding to my own idea of fairness. Plus it just simply made the idea of prepping footage for a quick-and-dirty editing contest much simpler.

All that being said, if people WANT to have access to an entire series while only editing for 2-3 hours, *shrug* whatever.

I have my computer running again. I wold love to to give this a try, always have. It sounds like a lot of fun, and I don't have any bowling leagues or anything else going on.

Will this take place on the weekend? or During the week?

So I guess we'll recieve a message on our Instant Messenger saying here is the audio file, you have 20 minutes to listen to it and start editing.

The only thing is I'll have to run two computers. One for internet and my AMV Editing machine. (It's a stand-alone, so it's not connected to the network to prevent viruses and other stuff.)

Anyways I'm down for it.
No matter what, stay calm, stay cool and live life to the fullest.
Plus as Gene would say always go big in life.

Scheduling has typically been down to the editors themselves. No specific weekday/weekend thing.

Hell yea! I'm in! New computer = faster editing software = better ICs = I'm still probably gonna last like 1-2 round(s) max.
