if you're referring to what i think you're referring to: circle mask a colored solid, feather, set the blending mode to color dodge. keyframe position and play with opacity.

I do love this song and pretty impressive vid, great execution no other way around to say, it is good to see an editor who goes beyond the anime plot and gets some fun with editing, yet I felt the storytelling was a little messy, mostly bc that floaty vision with all the pan/crops, it really undertakes its drama and gets distracting after a while, like "oh right this is bouncing again", but not take my opinion too seriously, it was brilliant and I hope the best for your on akross :bear:

I really liked the artistic feel it had going for it. I do think I agree with Ikore though about the pan/crops/floaty vision, as some of the transitions that used these techniques felt odd for some reason .However, overall not a bad video.

I had no idea what to expect with this, given the sources, but bravo man, this is insanely good. I feel like there's so much to absorb, I'm sure I'll be rewatching this one a lot to get everything. I loved the mood, the storytelling, and just the general aesthetic...it was beautiful. The only thing that slightly bothered me was that the editing was a little too fast some of the time, but that's a pretty small thing, as everything else was just so captivating. Bang-up job dude :up:

Loved the mood and the aesthetics. The editing of Nichijou was so good it all looked like it was actually apart of the anime as a romantic slice of life. :ying:
