Hey guys sorry for the delay I was sick on Monday so I spent most of the day in recovery.
I'd love to thank all the creators who submitted for their hard work and patience.
Later today I will post about how judging worked. I'd also like to get feedback from everyone.
Emails will be going out today and tomorrow as soon as I get responses I will ship out prizes.

How Judging Worked
Spoiler :
33% Was based of moderator intake which is done by the three members of AMV staff.
33% Was con appointed Judges. (This should have been adueince but due to printer failure the paper control department didn't deliver my ballots.)
33% Was Staff outside the AMV Department.
1% Was tie breaker and was actually done by several AMV artist for several ties in the adult contest.
If anyone is interested I can message them their scores and how they stacked up. I am very sorry if anyone feels the lack of Audience balloting hurt them in anyway.
Known Issues we will be fixing also changes for next year
Spoiler :
1. Instead of having titles run just before the AMV we will have a title slide with artist name, song used and anime used run after.
2. We will do a better sound check so maybe it won't be quite so loud.
3. Due to a printer failure we didn't have audience ballots printed out so we had to improvise. (Next year we plan to have them printed out a week before the con.)
4. We hope to get a dedicated re screening for all the winners. Sadly this means the re screening will be late at night.
5. WE are also working on an AMV creator mixer for next year.

I have a feeling I know exactly which contest's rules served as the basis for this one's.
That said, the "almost any format/codec" clause rather diminishes any chance I might have to pick on omissions or ambiguities in the technical section of the rules as I usually do, which is no fun.
Oh wait, I did find something:

(Note if you have won best of show at either Anime Expo; Anime Central; Sakura Con or Otakon you are considered a Master)
1) The first time I read this, I thought it meant how skilled we think the *musical* artist is.
2) What are the options? Is there a standardized list to choose from?
3) So, the Grand Prize or Master's jacket at Anime Weekend Atlanta don't count? Also I'm impressed that Animé Central is on this list, as I thought that their AMV contest these days was but a mere shadow of its former glory. I expected A-Kon instead. Somebody correct me if it's gotten better.
Anime Central is not as great as it was. For that matter neither is A-Kon. I tend to however agree with centrals AMV judgments where sometimes I don't exactly agree with what has won at A-Kon.
Don't worry Scintilla you are most likely going to fall under Master if you are who I think you are.
The Divisions are as follows.
Novice
Journeyman
Master

Having submitted to that con so many times and having teemed up with other submissions I couldn't resist the urge to use something that's already perfect. Sadly my rules are less than perfect but they work.
