FYI, I have a work outing after work today and as such I will be late coming home tonight. So while it may take a bit longer for any new entries received since last night to receive their FTP accounts then normal (by like 3 hours or so) as long as you submit your entry form by 11:59 PM EST tonight you will be fine and your FTP account will be created. Despite having an early day tomorrow at the office I will ensure that all FTP accounts are created and sent tonight for those of you waiting till the last possible second to submit your entries.

Dumb n00b question - on the off-chance there aren't enough Action videos, if we selected "please choose for me" for our other category(ies), will they be put into another fitting category, or dropped? I remember seeing that mailed-in videos with the "please choose for me" categories checked would be, but I was a smidge unclear on the FTP-submitted videos.

When you ask for the category to be chosen by us, we will make sure to place them into the most appropriate category and notify contestants which category it was placed in. If we are running an alternate category, or if we need to move the video from the contestant's primary choice for any reason, we will e-mail them of the category change. Also, note that the rules state all video entries by one creator "must be separate of each other", which means that if two (or all three) entries are primary for the same major category (i.e. two Drama, two Action, etc.), we will notify and give the contestant the choice of which video should compete in the category.

We work hard to make sure our contestants are advised of all issues when they arise to work through any problems, and will continue to do so right up to the last video we process. :)

Awesome, thank you. :) So far, the entire process has been virtually painless (aside from my first file being too big to fit on the server without a timeout, whoops,) and everyone I've been in contact has been very helpful about the whole process. Thanks for that! :D

Wondering if I signed up too late. What happens if someone doesn't get an FTP link before the contest closes?
