I'm guessing this is not a new topic, but i've never had the problem where my video editor actually imported the subtitles. I'm wondering if there is a way to get make sure they're off or not. I've heard of mkvtoolnix but i don't understand how to use it at all. Anyhow, should I just download the raws to this series instead? It's my come back amv so I want it to be amazing. (Since I haven't made a video in two years) It's a boku no hero academia amv.
Thx guys. Message me here on privately. I do need help right away.

Are you able to disable the subtitles during playback in a media player? I suspect the subtitles may actually be encoded into the video (hardcoded).

if subtitles are hard-coded MKVToolNix is not going to help you;
if subtitles are soft-coded it's (usually) pointless effort to explicitly remove them using this or any other tool;
