What is the best old-school anime ever? By old school I mean like Legend of the Phoenix, Metroplis, Grandizer, Gaiking ect.

Hmmm... I'm not sure myself. I'm not too familiar with older anime...

Curious, did you ever consider putting this part in your signature? It's in your profile here on the forum.

Misty: Hells friggin' yeah, Kimagure Orange Road all the way!!! I love that show so much. But I still need to do my DVD trade-in with AnimEigo, so I can get the corrected discs. :)

Oh yeah, and most definitely Urusei Yatsura, also!

Doreamon, I think they're still making episodes for it. :)

If not then, Gundam is pretty cool for old school. Although I'm sure Macross fans would naysay me.

And let us not forget one of the oldest Super Robot animes, Great Mazinger.

Hmm, was Captain Tsubasa the first sports anime? Probably not, but it had a good long run too.

I have Alakazam on tape: boring. But it scared the **** out of me when I was a kid.

Best old anime: Astroboy and 8th Man. The original Kimba the White Lion wasn't too bad (I think Lostboy's "Rhythm Animation" AMV has a Kimba clip in it.)

I've also managed to see some of Marine Boy and Prince Magic (English titles). I don't think these are released anywhere on any medium (unfortunately, I don't have copies, either :( ).

Old anime I'd like to see: Queen Millennia and Princess Knight (not sure about the exact titles).
