Troubles in Middle-Earth [Lord of the Animes: Two Showers]
Greetings, you might know who I am, you might not. You may have seen The Lord of the Animes: The Fellowship of the Anime, then again, maybe you haven't! But help is needed, oh yes it is.
You see, LotA: Fellowship used a variety of animes to produce the trailer, pulling source of the likes Escaflowne, Lodoss War, DragonBall Z and other assorted anime. And the cast has been highly appraised by many of the opinions I've been given. And that's where the problem lies. In following the success of Fellowship, I opted to make a trilogy of trailers, with the sequels The Lord of the Animes: The Two Showers and The Lord of the Animes: The Return of the Otaku.
However, casting has become an issue a 3 out of 4 new characters that appear within the trailer need casting:
-Theoden, King of Rohan: Has about 5 scenes, regal looking if possible.
-Eomer: Has one scene, horseriding person preferred.
-Gollum/Smeagol: Please try to aim towards something that would fit the apperance of Gollum, a dispicable little creature. And as so many people seem to think casting something cute would work, I must always say NO! I want you to be repulsed by Gollum, not wanting to huggle him. He has ONE utlra brief scene, but I'd like something that could possibly carry over into the third trailer.
Any worthy suggestions are welcome as to who to cast in these roles. As a note, I'm trying to avoid using to many characters from the same series, but somethings can't be help. If at all possible try to avoid DragonBall, Escaflowne and Lodoss War in your suggestions as each of these has 3 or more characters already.
Just so you know, here is the current cast:
Frodo - Krillin (DragonBall Z)
Sam - Son Gohan (DragonBall Z)
Gandalf - Muten Roshi (DragonBall Z)
Aragorn - Van Fanel (Escaflowne)
Eowyn - Hitomi Kanzaki (Escaflowne)
Saruman - Folken Fanel (Escaflowne)
Gimli - Ghim (Lodoss War)
Elrond - King Cashew (Lodoss War)
Arwen - Deedlit (Lodoss War)
Legolas - Ashitaka (Princess Mononoke)
Pippin - Yahiko (Rurouni Kenshin)
Sauron - Kain (Tenchi Muyo)
Casted, but not appearing in Two Showers:
Boromir - Parn (Lodoss War)
Galadriel - Varie Fanel (Escaflowne)
Merry - Jim Hawking (Outlaw Star)

Ok here are my suggestions.
Theoden - King Kasshew (sp?) from Lodoss would probably be your best bet for this one. If you don't use him then my next suggestion would be to use Hotohori from Fushigi Yuugi.
Eoromere - Cowboy Andy from Bebop, he's riding a horse and just would be hillarious to see in this roll. If you want someone more serious then I say go with either Vampire Hunter D or Dilandu from the Escaflowne movie (not the series.)
Gollum - Disgusting looking creatures that talk are rare in anime for the most part but to get you the best example I can. Go with Bengi from the Vampire Hunter D movie, he even sounds a bit like Gollum (granted yo uwon't use D sound clips but I'm just saying that he does sound like him a bit).

Theoden: Emperor Beld looks older and more regal than Kasshue. (He's the ruler of Lodoss until he gets killed, and then Kasshue succeeds him)
Gollum: How about that beasty thing in Blood: The Last Vampire? MrScribble's avator is a dark picture or sillouhette of it I think. I have no idea what it is as I've never seen Blood except for AMVs of it.

Theoden, King of Rohan- Dark Schneider from Bastard, or possibly Optimus Prime from Transformers, for something unique, if mildly innapropriate.
Eomer- Sakaki-san from Azumanga Daioh has a scene in the dream ep (8-10 or so) where she is riding a white horse.
Gollum/Smeagol- Personally, I think casting something or someone cute as Gollum (Like the brown-haired girl from Ranma, can't remember her name right now) would be hilarious, but with regards to your desires for casting Gollum, the little old man from Ninja Scroll reminds me very much of Gollum.

In X, the head bad guys sits an a throne for a little while, but not a great shot. A really good shot would be Mr. Gentleman, from Read or Die. Sitting on a throne, old guy, important looking, shows shots of just him, perfect.
Kenshin and Inuyasha both have times when they are riding on horses, and I think Sanosuke from kenshin does as well. The episode with the train in it is a good place to check this one. Think it would work really good.
As for Gollum, nothing fits that well that I can think of, but some posibilities are:
Alita (battle angel alita) when she's just been found in the scrap heap,
A kodoma (Mononoke) - could be too cute for you (They're the little white forest things)
The younger kid from Grave of the Fireflies
Some of the creatures in Spirited Away - lots of possibilites here, but only in very short segments.
