I'm a newbie and i have a question of what is a studio and how do i join one??

A studio is a group of people creating and releasing AMVs under a common name. Although most studios are just one person. To join, either look for recruiting threads (rare) and see what they want out of their members.

Or start your own. Everyone else does.

Most studios normally start by a bunch of people who decide to start making AMVs. Wired Knight Productions consists of three people who often make AMVs on their own but we have had one or two joint work productions. A few people have open membership so you can join them but you'll have to find someone for that, or as suggested, just start one of your own.

I just made up my own studio (Porcelain Productions) and dropped in some cool graphics for my intro

thanks ^_^ didn't know. okay i must be annoying [or just stupid ] now but, how do you make a studio of your own? and by the way since someone asked me to piont them to some of my vids, the answer is i don't have any of my own YET... i got some dvd's [princess monoke, the first episode of noir, and the first episode of wild arms to be exact] but i havn't figured out how to make amvs yet [my dad was gonna help me.... that's what he keeps saying anyway] and my computer just won't do anything with the dvd's once i put them in...so all in all i'm really confused and a bit frusterated right now.....sometimes i think my computer is against me for some reason, but, hey it's not my fault that i'm technology dumb [and that doesn't include when i brake stuff....poor mp3 player.... :[
