For the english speakers:
I asked if there will be an expo screening as well and apologized for my bad German.

I myself don't know how these strange (at least in some points) rule were set up...
IMHO, don't care about the timeline!
Maybe the organizers set up a tight time frame.
I don't have anything to do with the planning of contest, but i thought some advertisement would help since last years entries were quite crappy.
@ Chaos & Ashyukun:
You don't have to use a song with German lyrics or from a German band.
"Die Prinzen" = good torture

Hi iserlohn!
So it's true that you can speak German
Honestly you're doing quite well at it!
Text in English:
There will be an expo, too, but I can't exactly tell which and who's videos are shown.
If you want your AMV to be shown there then contact David.
There will also be another big con in Germany this year, called Animagic.
Probably there will be an AMV contest, too! [/b]

I know But I've wanted to make a video to a couple of the Die Prinzen songs for a while anyways, and this would be a perfect opportunity, and a bit better of a target audience than a US con anyways- especially if I'm planning on matching the video up with the lyrics (and not putting subtitles in, though I would probably do that as an option in distroing it).Giton wrote: @ Chaos & Ashyukun:

Again, as that is right about the time of AWA, it may be difficult to find the time to actually make the video, though. :/
