Final Fantasy VI Character Project
At the end of Final Fantasy VI (the FF with espers, magicite, and Magitek), there is a 20-minute song for the entire ending of the game. The first half of the song has the many different themes of the various playable characters in the game in it, each character theme going to about a minute or so, give or take.
You can pretty much tell where I'm going with this, heh. 8)
I'm proposing a multi-editor project, where each editor would acquire one (1) of the themes and make a character profile of an anime character that would resemble the original character in the game. My apologies to those who excel in parody and comedy videos, but I'd like to keep this a serious piece. So nothing like Menchii from Excel Saga playing as Gau, or anything like that. Again, I'm sorry.
I know, I know. Too many projects as it is.
So I'm putting this on hold til the other current projects (MI:SW, SW Episode II, DDR3-4, JGR, etc) blow over.
As to when I'll be getting around to it specifically, I'm not too sure. It'll just depend on when time allows.

Sounds interesting. But how could you not do comedy for Gau. I can only picture comedic characters for him. The others... alright, but what about Umaru? Gatts?
Frankly, I like this idea though. And if I don't have anything after MI:2, I might want to be in it.
Are you going to use the song in the game itself, or try and find a remix?

The only version I've found so far is on a three-disc set that has the original sound from the game. It being the original is an assumption, which you can probably tell that I don't have it yet. D'ahhflint_the_dwarf wrote:Are you going to use the song in the game itself, or try and find a remix?
This is the CD I'm talking about right HERE
A job would be kinda nice, so I could buy it. [/url]

Yeah, that looks like it's the original. If I remember correctly, it really doesn't have all that much to work with.
You mean, aside from the 13 playable? Heh, not a bad idea... come on, where are all you FF fans?Pie Row Maniac wrote:I believe there's about 26 FFVI characters.

Heck, I'll take a shot at, being that I've done to FF AMVs already. Why not take a shot at yet another FF-related one? I could take on Shadow. I've already got a character in mind for him, and DVD source footage

Would these be bearing a resemblence to the game sprite, the amano artwork, or CG graphics? There's quite a few different ways the FF VI characters could look. For some of the characters it doesn't make much of a difference, but for some it makes a world of difference. Edgar's amano sketch looks very different from his sprite form. Well to me, anyways. In any case Guts from Berzerk as Cyan. Yes, no?

I meant resembling as in character- or personality-wise. Or quite possibly situation-wise.KLin wrote:Would these be bearing a resemblence to the game sprite, the amano artwork, or CG graphics? EXAMPLE:
- Anime character has to choose between his heritage and his friends.
- Terra has to deal with both her human and Esper side.
Hopefully that example makes sense.
Ehhhhhhhhh, sure.KLin wrote:In any case Guts from Berzerk as Cyan. Yes, no?
