Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

4 New Videos by Soul Brother Ryusynoke!

Post by Soul Bro Ryu » Tue Apr 08, 2003 2:21 am

Thanks to AnimeMusicVideos.org for allowing us to host our videos up here, and as soon as I can get some money together, I'm donating to the site too. It's a benefit to us all. Good lookin' out, Phade, this is incredible work you're doing and please keep it up. ^_^

Here's a link to my profile where anyone can find links to the latest four videos I have uploaded for "Incentive Members" to download, that is until they become available for everyone to DL later on this month. The videos are:

* "Window Seat" - Anime: Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
* "Sci-Fientifical Madness" - Anime: Chobits
* "Positive Contact" - Anime: Robotech - The Macross Saga
* "Eine Kleine Jazz Musik" - Anime: Cowboy Bebop

I really looking for input, other than from the few friends that I get to watch them on the regular, and opinions from AMV-making veterans can only help me to become a better video creator.

Thanks and I hope to see input from you guys soon.

"Years ago, a friend told me something. That if you play rock, you die at 27. Janis Joplin. Jim Morrison. Jimi Hendrix. So I figured, hell, I'll die at 27 too...but then my 28th birthday came and passed. I was disappointed...shit, I wasn't a rocker after all...but there are tons of grey-haired skeletons out there with canes out there still rocking hard. So I took that way of thinking that death was something cool...and tossed it."

Just to make things easier:

* Window Seat
* Sci-Fientifical Madness
* Positive Contact
* Eine Kleine Jazz Musik

I should have thought of this in the first place. ^_^

Tough crowd, isn't it? But it's like that to any forum where a person is relatively new... I appreciate the sentiment, Nick, I just hope it dosen't alienate myself more than I already am. ^_^

A comment will eventually come into play, whether it negative or positive. Honestly it dosen't matter to me which, as long as it's any feedback tinged with wisdom.

At this point, I can only count the seconds...

Better make that hours and days. While the Off Topic areas seem to be teeming with life, it takes a while before people see the vids up here and find the time to review them.

If you're still hard up for reviews after a few days, try posting in the Opinion Exchange forum. You can offer to give people a review of one of their vids in exchange for them reviewing one of yours.

I'd help you out, but I don't have access yet. Sorry. :(

That too, once more people are able to DL local files, you'll get a lot more hits. (I'm still a total leech, so I don't get to DL your files)

Thanks, fellas. For the info and the sentiment. It's too early for me to get discouraged and I'll just hang in there until my videos are more readily available.

In the meantime, I review other artists videos and see if I can get any inspiration from the innovative ones. There's always room to improve, and I plan to. ^_^

Dig it! I think my local videos are available for download now. ^_^

If anyone can check out any of my AMVs, I sure would appreciate the input. Creative-wise, I've been feeling stagnate and a little adivce could go a long way for me.

Thanks again,
SBR
