mpeg

some one recently told me they could mpeg a video. now my question is. what does that mean and what would i need to do that mysefl. see i'm new to making music videos, i only have 2 and the program can only make them avi files so there like 90 meg a peice. would mpeg make for smaller files or what?

hey like i said i only started a few weeks ago, i didn't know didly when i started i'm just kinda winging it. but thanks for the help. plus my grammer and punctuation is to blame on my hands, their clumsy as hell, i tried beating them into line but they just don't listen anymore, just like those damn voices, everyones got something to add but no one can take a little criticism without ordering you to kill your parents, you know.
