that's the thing though it was a blessing BUT it was a punishment cause they didn't want perfect harmony, though u are right the croses simbolised that they had been purified still i'd say dead...BUT AGAIN the humans didn't want to leave their imperfect world, it's how humans are, chaos is part of our lives. like for me chaos is when i can't get an AMV or Anime movie, lots of chaos comes outta that..

Yeah but with the instrumentality project, everyone would eventually be the same, with no sense of individuality what so ever. Could one really live like that?

I mean Shinji spent the whole the series imagining how it would be like in a different world, where all feelings and insecurities were gone, but he realised that world (created by the instrumentality project) was worse off then the original reality. Even though its not perfect, at least he could still feel emotions, he could still be himself. In the end, he decided not run away but to face reality. Sure it can be hard at times, but thats what makes us appreciate the good times.

There is no evidence to support most of those statements. People would still have their individuality, they'd just be a little short of mental breathing room.

The Revival of Evangelion is a fake. I got the same poster. It's crap. Poop. other nonsense. And why need more Eva? Everything was finalized. Now, however, there was an alternate script written for part of EoE, but it was never produced. What I would have liked to see was it produced and released as an additional option on the DVD. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Big deal.
