Hi I’m J.J. I'm trying to start an animecon in Blaine WA on 7/16-18/04. But I need help not only do I have a money problem but I have know idea what you people like such as what and who to have there and who to talk to for "stuff". This has lack of planning written all over it 0o.
What cons have you been to before? What did you like about them? What do you think they screwed up on? Don't you think getting in touch with those kinds of people would be most benefiscial since they have experience?

Also have you ever been a major staff member at a major con. Generally these people tend to start-up new cons. It's not as easy as just asking and whatnot...requires A LOT of work and dedication..oh yeah and $$$.

I also support the thought that this is something you need not to tackle unless you've had staff experience at several levels.
