we have had a favorite anime thread, but we havent had one about our favorite moveis, and from what I have heard from most people the anime movies get low marks compared to mini series anime (I can't take 5 steps without geting beaten over the head with some Bebop fanboy telling me the show rox0rs.)
So I wanna know what your top 3 favorite anime movies are.
Mine would be
1. KOHD
2. Princes mononoke
3. Spriggan
only saw akira and escaflwne twice and dont have them anymore so I can't say much for them. but KOHD is the perfect example of a good series to movie port. Princes mononoke had a good story, and Spriggan was cool because they made the US bad guy and it had some sweet fight scenes.

Adolesence of Utena - this movie has got to have the most gorgeous animation to date, and is a good substitute for the show - non-fans of the show will even love this.
Princess Mononoke - Dark, a bit of a gun vs. sword thing which I often enjoy seeing.
