Ashyukun wrote:Hmmm. Wasn't the recurring option along the lines of "Kill her" (referring to Excel, his 'sister' in the game)?

Knowing well that may be wrong, I'll give anyone trying to figure out the original question the info I remember- Sakuma Rei, the Seiyuu for the Nyaanichiuan-cursed (Spring of Drowned Cat- probably butchered the spelling there) Shampoo in Ranma 1/2 also voices Kiki's black cat familiar, Jiji.
I'm afraid the recurring option is neither "Squeeze," nor "Kill Her." Although I DO admit, "Kill Her" WAS the option IlPalazzo-sama selected when Excel tricked him out of bed. BAD END

As for the Sakuma Rei answer -- since I'm looking for TWO seiyuu for the answer to the Ranma-Kiki question, unfortunately I cannot acknowledge on this thread whether this is correct or not. BTW, I did some checking on IMDB and Hitoshi Doi's site; it turns out there are TWO MORE seiyuu who participated in both (SIX; originally I DID say there were "at least FOUR"). However, one seiyuu's Ranma character was only in a few episodes, while the other one's Kiki character had very little dialogue.

I'm sorry, Fellow Otaku, but both questions remain open.

 Yeah, I knew you were looking for two- I figured I'd give someone else the hint if they had another VA they knew but couldn't think of the second (*Wonder Otaku Powers, Unite*)

As for the current question, with it mulling around a bit more in my brain: was it "Put it in."? :P

Holy way-too-long-lead-ins Batman! Dude try and shorten your questions. You lost me about three times. X_x

Sorry, Monsieur le Fou; I prefer to do long lead-ins. If I don't provide enough info, I believe it leads to problems when people try to answer the question.

GOOD END!!!! "Put it in" IS the recurring option in Love Puny. Unfortunately, IlPalazzo-sama never DID select "Put it in," so we don't know what the result would be. If anyone has a copy of Love Puny, please let us know!

As for the Ranma-Kiki question: Ashyukun IS correct on Sakuma Rei -- she DID do Shampoo AND Jiji (hey, now I CAN acknowledge it!). The other seiyuu in both are:

Takayama Minami -- On Ranma 1/2 she was the voice of Tendo Nabiki. She also pulled double-duty on Kiki, as the voice of Kiki, AND Ursula.

Yamaguchi Kappei -- One of the voices for Saotome Ranma (specifically, the MALE voice). He also provided the voice for Tombo.

Inoue Kikuko -- The angelic voice of Tendo Kasumi. She also had a small voice role as the "beautiful designer girl." Small, but crucial -- she's Kiki's first paying customer!

Kobayashi Yuko (WASHU-CHAN!!) -- She provided the voice for Ran-Ran (aka Lung-Lung in the dub); technically NOT a major character for Ranma 1/2, but I would have accepted it. In Kiki she played the "young sempai witch" early in the film (the fortune-telling snob).

Yamadera Koichi -- Everyone's favorite Lost Boy, Hibiki Ryoga; he also added voice to the Jusenkyo Guide for all but the very first eps. In Kiki, he only got to intone twice as the "owner of bakery" (Osono's husband), but that still counts.

Ashyukun, the Thread Is YOURS!!

Heh. Amusingly, if I had guessed on the Seiyuu, I would have been right, since I thought Yamaguchi Kappei might have voiced both male leads. Pity Hayashibara wasn't anywhere in Kiki's.

OK, going back a bit but not making it too difficult. In Pioneer's original Tenchi-Era OAV series Moldiver, one of the OAVs rather blatantly makes a reference to a popular series which began quite some time (over a decade) before Moldiver was produced. What was this series, and what about it did the Moldiver OAV 'borrow'?

It's been nearly three years since I saw the Moldiver LDs, so this is a stab in the dark from my fuzzy memory.

Was it Speed Racer's Mach 5?

Nope, sorry. :) Right era though, just the wrong series. You are on the right track though (no pun intended) in that it was a series released both in Japan and domestically, and I'll happily accept either name for it.

As an additional hint (though not really, I suppose, given just how many things they lampoon :P )- Excel Saga also parodies it rather heavily later in the series...

OK, I'm seriously beginning to think interest in this thread is really beginning to wane. The entire 4th episode of Moldiver involves or takes place on the WW2 battleship Yamato, and the end involved a very blatant direct reference to the classic (and at least in other incarnations, long-lived) anime series Uchuu Senkan Yamato, known here as Starblazers. In the last volume of Excel Saga, Yamato is heavily parodied (along with Harlock, Queen Emeraldas, and Gundam) in the episode in which F-City is destroyed.

I wish I had higher hopes for this question being answered, but I can't say I do: In Silent Mobius (all its incarnations, TV, manga, and movies) the Attacked Mystification Police have in their arsenal a gun capable of generating in effect a small black hole. What is this gun called? It's full designation is not necessary, just its common name.
