*sniffles* I wanted to be in the DDR2 Project, but I just recently heard they were doing it. *sigh* Guess I missed my chance.. Oh well.. I am making an AMV to a DDR song now just to prove my worthinesds in case there's a third project! You all will see that my skills have become masterful! 8)

The way it worked in the past was, the people on the first project got first picks with the second. Everyone got two tracks I believe, the creators then had the choice to give on track away to another creator or do both.
The third project will be working the same way. The people that pull through and complete their work get first picks next project. I believe 4th mix is lined up for next year.
Don't quote me on this, but since 4th has a lot of tracks I think that it will be open for other creators. ^^
I'm very energitic about the project ^^ I play DDR so it's a lot of fun to make an amv for the project ^^ And I also think it's great to see all the talent ^^
It's a great idea too ^^
I already can't wait for next year.
*huggles everyone*

I know you can read my thoughts...
Better question yet: When will DDRP2 be ready for download for us poor suckers without enough moeny to fly themselves to location X to see it at a con? And as for songs, as soon as I saw the Oh nick video I downloaded the song. The screening process makes sense, but it seems like you'd rapidly run out of people that way, and then you don't get a taste of others' styles. I've almost a mind to start the next (Group) one myself. Sure, I've got two going anyway, but hey, what's a few short videos?

Some of videos that I liked in the project (in no particular order):
Oh Nick! Please Not So Quick: As everyone said, the videois definitely in a wrong manner (the kids from Akazukin Cha Cha in an AMV for an adult-themed song). However, the concept, along with the digital effects, work very well.
The Race: Racing action and chases to the music of Captain Jack. Hsien definitely hit the bullseye when it came to this video.
Boom Boom Dollar: This is your anime. (views the Boom Boom Dollar video) This is your anime on crack. Any questions? (yep, I'm a fan of anime on crack).
Operator: The amount of anime titles that Tim has put in this video provides a fun challenge for the otaku. Even more fun is some of the choices of anime characters he uses in the video which, range from nice alternatives to what you'd usually expect to characters that you'd never expect to represent their shows.

Speaking of DDR, I'm bringing a huge stack of DDR Project 1 VCDs to Otakon to give away for free. I know I've probably posted this somewhere else before, but I want people to know about it.
I don't know if I'll be at the actual showing of DDR, so you'll have to hunt me down. But I'll be at the Saturday morning panels, and probably the creator gathering.

I have no idea how to use this new forum.

uhh... damn... I must be getting into the game at the wrong time, but I'm only begining to understand what this DDR project is. It's odd, because they played it at Fanime (a con I attended) and I watched a portion of it, but I didn't know what I was looking at at the time. So anyway, I'd like to see the entire thing, is there an official page, or any kind of page that I can download it from?
