Record label seeks video makers

if ur trying to make money, and as a recording company I assume you are, then any AMV set to your music will be downright illegal, as all the anime(non-original) here is copyrighted and we can only use it because we are not making a profit of it or advertising entire episode or movies to large audiences.

Our AMVs are illegal too. Unauthorized use of copyrighted material is a violation of copyright law - even if it isn't for profit.

I think the record label probably had in mind making a video with original footage of their own.

I think they're looking for talented video creators, and some anime music videos creators might be talented...

Are people on these forum open-minded ? video creation is not only AMV... some of us are actually interested in the world of music video creation... not only anime music videos

why, each time someone suggests such a project, it gets rejected, or this starts a debate about "amvs are legal or not" ?
This site is not only about amv, it is also about other music videos !

I think the main complaint here is that the person who has posted hasn't quite understood what we do here.

Sure, there are many of us interested in making real music videos, but we are video editors not video directors. We don't create most of the footage that we use and even then we mostly just manipulate what we have.

It's an interesting proposal but it's not really what we do.

Speak for yourself, AD. My unbeatable editing combo of MS Paint with MS Word actually creates whatever footage I describe for it.
