AMV Avisynth Plugin Pack v1 Released!
Anime Music Videos - Avisynth Plugin Pack
The Avisynth Plugin Pack is designed to install and register all of the files necessary to import DVD files into Adobe Premiere.
You can download the full pack HERE (618k) or just the new version of the premiere plugin HERE (49k). All programs in the installer are optional.
This is version 1.0 of the pack and includes:
Premiere Avisynth Import Plugin - version 2.0.1 (Bugfix Release)
Avisynth 2.05
HuffYUV 2.1.1
DVD2AVI 1.76
Decomb 3.9
Example Avisynth Scripts
Why release an installer pack?
Many members on www.animemusicvideos.org have had various difficulties using the method of editing with DVD footage as outlined by ErMaC's Guide to All Things Video. This pack not only automates the installation of all the necessary files, it also includes a bugfix version of the Premiere Avisynth Import Plugin which was developed by a-m-v.org members.
Who made the pack?
The installer was developed by AbsoluteDestiny and the individual programs were developed by their respective authors.
One of the programs hasn't installed correctly...
All of the programs and files should install exactly as they should. However, if for any reason any of the files do not install correctly, they are included in the Installed Files folder of AMVapp. In these circumstances you should manually install the individual programs. See ErMaC's guide for more details.
There's 4 versions of HuffYUV installed - what gives!?!
The HuffYUV installer included in the pack is designed to make sure that all the YUV display methods use the HuffYUV codec. This will fix display issues in Premiere when using avisynth and huffYUV files. All 4 huffYUV entries are exactly the same thing registered 4 different ways so you can use any of them but the 3rd one down will have the most appropriate FourCC.
There's a new version of Program X, can I use that instead?
Yes, of course you can - if it works. This release contains the most recent working and hopefully stable versions of the above software. New versions are being released all the time so it is always worth checking www.doom9.org for new developments. Of course, there will be future releases of the pack which will contain any important updates so it is advisable that unless you are confident in what you are doing, you usethese version. N.B. That new experimental versions of programs such as DVD2AVI may not work with Avisynth and vice versa so if in doubt just use the versions included in the pack.
Future Additions?
The video guides on animemusicvideos.org are in the process of being updated. More avisynth filters may be added later as well as any other support applications that are useful specifically for amv creation. Also when the guides are finished, they will be included in the pack for offline viewing.

I don't honestly think the resize algo could really be made much quicker but we'll look at it.
Also, note that the plugin is actually v1.0b not 2.0.1 - I copied from an old readme where the name hadn't been decided upon ^_^;;;
Also, if anyone would like to add to the project, please feel free to check out the source code and the premiere SDK
