Alright, but, to attempt a return to topic - I've been looking at who other people listed, and I'm yet to see a single character I really dislike, let alone hate. So maybe it is true

In other words you would rather have an anime char sit on their lazy ass and do shit? That kinda boring, a lot of the crap these charicters do is what makes the anime! Without it it would be hella boring. your idea of anime is boring or very gory were everyone dies but the main guy char who is gay and as huge as a house (at least from my perspective of what you just wrote)

The one thing about anime females is them stalking their wannabe killer (Relena/GW) Crying all the time (Charoline/Paradise Kiss) and who laugh that high pitch laugh that goes something like this OHOHOHOHOHOHO!!! (Naga/Slayers)

I said i don't like most females featured in anime. This is mainly because most of them are portrayed as spastic, bitchy, and whiney with a high shrill voice. Asuka is a good example, for she only throws a hissy fit every time something doesn't go her way, and she slaps Rei without provocation. She feels the need to upstage everyone and if she's upstaged, ooh, things get ugly. It was entertaining to see her act in this manner the first couple times, but its easily played out and gets only annoying when she's this way in every episode. As for sone females that I actually do like, Kagero from Ninja Scroll is really cool, as is Sharon Apple of Macross Plus, and coincedentally, Lulu , your avatar, of FFX.

As for anime guys, what I meant was that I don't like the crybaby male characters who are more girly than an actual girl *cough*Shinji. And how the hell did you get the idea that I like bulky heros? Yuske of Yu-Yu Hakuho is funny and a badass, as is Spike of Cowboy Bebop, Vash is the perfect goofy protagonist, I thought Mujuru, the blind samauri of Ninja Scroll was cooler than Jubei, and I could really identify with Seita from Grave of the Fireflies because I was just as cocky and self centered as he was when I was 15.

As for criticism of the 'OMG ANIME CHARACTERS NOT REALISTIC' - bah. You do realize it's not reality. I don't want to watch... real people. I want to be entertained/engaged. The characters have done a good job of that so far.

well it's anime, they do that to most female characters. There are rarely female charaters in there that is NOT hot. well some exceptions though.
